The Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies, as part of the XXXI Economic Forum in Karpacz (September 6-8, 2022), organized the Polish-Hungarian Local Government Forum. The project was co-financed by funds from the Waclaw Felczak Institute for Polish-Hungarian Cooperation. The Polish-Hungarian Local Government Forum was a chance for guests to discuss the most important events and topics of Poland and Hungary, as well as their common past, present and future. The event took place on September 6-7, 2022 in Karpacz. The forum remained with eleven panel discussions and side events devoted to such topics as: tourism, equitable energy transition, local government issues, common history and mutual bilateral relations between Poland and Hungary.
The Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies presents a publication summarizing past conferences on Polish-Hungarian relations from 2019 to 2022. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd Poland-Hungary Forum and the Polish-Hungarian Local Government Forum, which took place in Stary Sącz, Karpacz and Warsaw over the years, can be downloaded in a summary folder in Polish and in Hungarian.
