“ESG Measurements, sustainability needs and decarbonisation” – report from the presentation of Latitude59 in Tallinn

Małopolska Innovation Rocket

During the Latitude59 event in Tallinn there was a presentation of “ESG Measurements, sustainability needs and decarbonisation”.

As part of the Economic Accelerator program, the Małopolska Innovation Rocket project is implemented, which is organized in the years 2021-2022 by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies.

As part of the project, 2 companies from the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (Kooderzy, Onteon Tech) participate in the Latitude59 event in Tallinn.

As part of the Latitude59 event, which is devoted to startups and innovations, the presentation of ESG Measurements, sustainability needs and decarbonisation was held.

The presentation of ESG Measurements, sustainability needs and decarbonisation was led by Lubomila Jordanova, CEO of Plan A.

At the very beginning, Lubomila pointed out that the 1000 unicorns will not focus mainly on looking for engineers, programmers, developers and funds to finance the business, but will focus on issues related to sustainability. These startups will help solve key problems related to ecology, clean energy and decarbonization.

Lubomila pointed out that these issues are also important for the clients themselves, who are more and more aware of green washing and all the frauds undertaken by some large companies. Such activities expose the business to irreversible loss of image.

Jordanowa concluded that in order for a company to be successful in today’s world, it must include ESG in its mission.
