In May, Barcelona hosted a conference on startups and innovative enterprises. The event was attended by the participants of the project implemented under the Economic Accelerator Małopolska Innovatin Rocket. Three companies from the smart sector appeared in Fira Barcelona to present their products and gain new friends and encourage investors to their products.
Eu Summit is an event that consists of a fair, a place for exhibitors, where startups can present their innovative solutions, and a conference offering a bearded substantive program, in which conference participants can find discussion panels, presentations, keyote speech and talks with interesting guests.
On the first day of the conference, among the discussion panels and conversations, topics related to running a company and the effective development of a startup appeared, including with how to find financing for your company, how to keep a startup competitive and modern in such a “crowded” environment. The panelists who mostly delivered 1: 1 presentations or talks were entrepreneurs from companies that are now known unicorns, such as: Wefox (Germany), Huuuge Game (USA), Epidemic Sound (Sweden), Packhelp (Poland), Zilch ( UK), Babbel (Germany). The founders, co-founders and CEO of European unicorns presented their companies, talked about the success, how they achieved it, gave guidance to the audience on various aspects of the company’s development. From each presentation, you can draw different conclusions and learn new things when it comes to the company’s development, each of them led to the same conclusions – there are developed development models and paths that should be followed when it comes to the development of a startup, but each company presented at the conference she had her own idea. Everyone also emphasized that in order to effectively develop and expand the company, first of all, you should take care of creating a good, dedicated team, ensure that the company’s development is sustainable, believe in your product and be relentless in your endeavors and not give up at the first failure.
